Uber Snowstorm
Uber is one of the most influential and entrepreneurial companies in the world. It’s this start-up like culture that has attracted some of the brightest minds from around the world to work for Uber. However, as Uber has become more established, this start up mentality has seemingly diminished. So Uber came to us with the challenge to help bring back the entrepreneurial spirit to their APAC staff.
We created Snowstorm. Named after the 2008 Snowstorm in Paris that sparked the idea of Uber, the initiative gave creative control to employees to submit ideas for the future of Uber. Not only this, staff also voted on their favourites, with the winner being implemented by Uber.
We developed the initial hype video to launch the month-long creative initiative, designed the website, progress reports, and even help create ideation methods like ‘collision cards’ to help spark ideas.
The employees couldn’t get enough, with over 350 ideas submitted and the submission window being extended by 2 weeks due to such high demand. Now the top 5 ideas have been chosen we’re excited to see where the future of Uber lies.
